After having to wake poor sripal up, to book an under taxi for me, (no Indian sim)😭, I started to process of getting to Sri Lanka, taxi was 220 Rupee to the airport 4.40nzd, no bad, arrived a little earlier than expected.... and dud, the airport's free Wi-Fi requires a mobile sim...
Anyway a couple of entertaining flights, chatting with the crew...sri Lanka.... first thoughts...omg it is so humid...
My driver/guide was waiting for me...
The tour company outsources to about 20 freelance guides....

Sounds like there's a shortage of labourers who are willing to work for 10 a day.. 😞
Other things I've noticed, main roads are pretty well maintained, alot of cows on the roads makes driving fun at night... once off the main roads you pretty well hit dirt tracks...
Sorry no photos as of yet... it was a 5 hour drive to the resort I'm am currently at... ment to be dolphin/whale watching today...should be fun... otherwise paddle boarding, kite surfing ROFL...
Hi Chris, yeah Guangzhou airport in china is like that. Free wifi, great. But you need a chinese sim.
