Yeah, that's right 2am start, finished at 12, lunchtime trip up was slow progress due to my knee's and kinda carrying too much weight around the middle, to my surprise, several people gave up and turned back.
Adam's peak is 5986 stairs of torture yeah some are high some are low, it's pretty well much all concrete, normally has 10m climbers a year. During the peak periods, full moon time, 100k per day... damn.
It has plenty of shops along the way for food water..and a nice cup of tea.
To my horror, the footstep, was not on show.... gutted... and it's of Budda, not the Hindu monkey god, I was planning to see.... sounds like his footprint is not on a mountain... and is easy access...
