Yes, on my way to Adam's peak, the monster I'm climbing tomorrow morning, it's high... scary high...
Anyway my guide/driver had a family emergency his 9 year old son, was in hospital, very little details other than its a serious wound from school his wife was a mess on the phone... hospitals don't do anything without family signing that it's OK... And his wife had no transport due to strike's in Colombo.
In the finish we found out he had a metal rod impaled through his leg... ouch..
Long story short, I've been dumped at Adams peak, my driver may return tomorrow or I will have a replacement or...I'm on my OWN!
Anyway hope the little one is OK...and bring on Adams peak!😂 I start the trek at midnight... should take me 7+hours.. 5000+ steps, talked to a guide that's done it 2547 times... hopefully some picks tomorrow
